In response to several requests, we're giving our 8th grade confirmands the opportunity to assist with selected services during the coming year. Please use the form below to let us know which services you'd prefer and which you would not be able to help with.
Held every 3 years since 1980, the LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of God’s people to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity. The next Gathering will be held on July 11-15, 2019 in Minneapolis, MN.
During the five days of the Gathering, youth spend time together in God’s word, worship, service, and fellowship with others from across the synod. This event is organized by LCMS Youth Ministry in Saint Louis, MO.
Please pray for those who will be attending the gathering-- for safe travel, for a wonderful time of fellowship, and, most importantly, that, through it, they will be strengthened by God's Word.
(Edit 8/29/18) Update following Sunday’s meeting: Thank you to the families who were in attendance on Sunday and those who have expressed a desire for your children to take part in the class. The plan is to meet on Sundays from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m., as we have in the past. If you haven’t spoken to Pastor Stolarczyk about your child taking part, please call, email, or text by Tuesday, September 4, so that our plans can be finalized.
